As part of a Foundation Degree in Supporting Teaching and Learning, I am required to complete a module on research; namely a Negotiated Professional Investigation. The module is based on Action Research (more on that later) using a variety of approaches and methodologies. It is divided into three main components: a proposal for research, a reflective diary (1000 words) and a research report (4000 words). In direct reference to 21st century learning; and knowing that if I progress on to a BA next year there will be an element of professional portfolio building, here is my diary.
